Which court serves you
Crewe has no county/family court of its own — Crewe Magistrates' Court handles limited work, and most family proceedings (child arrangements, financial remedy, care cases) for Cheshire East are issued at Stoke-on-Trent Combined Court, Bethesda Street, Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent ST1 3BP (about 10 miles away), with some Cheshire cases listed at Chester — see our full Stoke-on-Trent court guide. HMCTS National Contact Centre: 0300 123 5577.

Children's services
Crewe sits in Cheshire East Council's area, which handles safeguarding, child-in-need referrals and care proceedings locally — contact routes via https://www.gov.uk/report-child-abuse. See our North West children's services page. Cafcass involvement in Crewe family cases sits with Cafcass North West.
Getting there
Crewe station is a major West Coast mainline and regional hub; Stoke-on-Trent station is one stop (≈10 minutes) by train from Crewe, then a short bus or taxi to the Hanley court. Allow extra time for the onward journey, as the court has no public customer parking. See the court guide for access and disabled parking details.
